Andrea Kis is a cultural anthropologist based in Amsterdam and a graduate of the Research Master Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. Her work uses feminist ethnography to examine labor, racialization, and inequality in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on how spaces that claim inclusion - such as religious, rural, and diasporic communities - reproduce boundaries and exclusion.
