Through the looking glass: learning to do ethnography with children and their families

PhD in Psychology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, specialized in Developmental and Educational Psychology. My work has focused on early socialization, contemporary families, multimodal interaction, and gender. I explored how babies actively participate in family life through everyday interactions, using an ethnographic and qualitative approach. Although I no longer work in academia, I continue to reflect on these topics through writing, observation, and experiential analysis. I’m inspired by the everyday care work of parents, which I see as a powerful force for collective well-being and social transformation.
