Hareem Khan
Hareem Khan is Associate Professor of Anthropology and Ethnic Studies at California State University, San Bernardino. Her research has been published in American Studies Journal, Ethnicities, Journal of Asian American Studies, Wear Your Voice digital magazine, The New Ethnographer digital blog, and an anthology on global raciality organized by the University of California Center for New Racial Studies. She is currently working on her first book project, which examines the burgeoning South Asian beauty and wellness industries focusing on the entanglements of race, labor, and the commodification of transnational aesthetic practices under neoliberal multiculturalism.
