Hanna Nieber is a postdoctoral researcher, based at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology. She studies the social life of astronomy and space science in Southern Africa with a particular focus on the emergence of an astronomy-enthusiastic scene in Madagascar. Her work revolves around questions of scale, infrastructural and geopolitical entanglements, as well as outreach and future-making.
