Gabriella Sanchez

Gabriella Sanchez is a faculty member at the National Security Studies Institute in the University of Texas at El Paso. She is the author of "Border Crossings and Human Smuggling" (Routledge 2015). When she is not trying to find ways to debunk myths on transnational organized crime by conducting ethnographic research on criminalized economies she frequents taco and shawarma stands at all times of the day regardless of the location.
