Eeva Berglund teaches and writes on issues to do with society and the environment, whilst participating in and trying to better understand urban activism. She has a doctorate in social anthropology from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in planning from University College, London. She now lives in Helsinki where she also teaches at Helsinki and Aalto universities. She has recently worked on grassroots urbanism, environmental social movements, urban development and transformations in notions of expertise.
