Yukisato Azai is a graduate from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland. His academic interests lie at the nexus of political mobilization and political ecology. He has conducted fieldwork in Okinawa, exploring how protestors sustain their political mobilization against the U.S. militarization.
