Eylaf Bader Eddin
Eylaf Bader Eddin is Assistant Professor of Arabic Studies at Davidson College. He holds graduate degrees in English, and Comparative Literature in Damascus, Beirut, Paris, Aix-en-Provence, and Marburg. His research lies at the intersection of language, revolution, and cultural production, with a focus on Syria. He is the author of When They Cried, Forever: The Language of the Syrian Revolution (Arabic) and Translating the Language of the Syrian Revolution (2011/12) (English). His current research examines musical practices in Syrian political prisons, exile, and knowledge production after Assad.
