Wendy Vogt is a cultural anthropologist with research interests in migration, violence and human rights in Latin America. She is completing her book manuscript, Lives in Transit: Violence and Intimacy along the Migrant Trail, based on long-term research with Central American transit migrants in southern Mexico. She is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
