Victoria Kumala Sakti is currently completing her PhD in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Freie Universität in Berlin. Her work focuses on the interrelationship between violence, memory and emotions in Timor-Leste. She conducted a multi-sited ethnography between conflict divided communities and sought to understand the everyday work of rebuilding broken relationships.
