Veronica Ferreri is a Global Marie Curie Fellow in the Department of Humanities at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. Her project, Archives in Times of War, ethnographically examines diasporic Syrians’ archives and their entanglement with kinship ties, ethnonationalism, political violence and construction of the self. Recently, she was a Visiting International Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies in the Humanities in Essen, where she is completing her monograph entitled The Aftermath of War on the predicament of the al-Qusayri community across Syria and Lebanon. Her work has appeared in History and Anthropology, Citizenship Studies, and AllegraLab. She also co-curated with Inana Othman the literary collection "Eternity Unwoven: Echoes of the Unwritten and Poetics of the Archive" in collaboration with Arabpop and UntoldMag.
