Tess Altman recently completed her doctorate at UCL Anthropology, where she is now Research and Workshop Coordinator and supervises graduate students. She will shortly commence an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on volunteer humanitarianism in climates of hostility towards migrants.
