Sarah G. Phillips
Sarah G. Phillips is Professor of Global Conflict and Development at the University of Sydney, where she researches at the intersection of international relations, security, development, and anthropology. Her work draws from years of fieldwork in the Middle East and Africa, and explores issues related to international intervention, authoritarianism, non-state governance, and the production of knowledge about violence. She believes that studying places that are typically marginalised with international relations is the best way to understand how the world works.
