Purbasha Mazumdar
Purbasha Mazumdar is a PhD candidate at the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at The Graduate Institute, Geneva. Her intended dissertation seeks to anthropologically investigate the impending crisis of Antimicrobial Resistance in India and the history of its constitution as a global health concern by focusing on a range of sites including laboratories, hospitals and pharmacies. More broadly, her academic interests include the history and philosophy of science, medicine and technology, economic anthropology, and linguistic anthropology.
