Nina Valerie Kolowratnik
Nina Valerie Kolowratnik is an architectural researcher and consultant on spatial documentation based in Vienna and New York. Kolowratnik’s practice addresses issues of forced migration and socio-cultural claims to land and property, and develops spatial notational systems that operate within legal and human rights debates. Since 2014 she is teaching graduate courses focused on borderlands, migration and human rights as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University GSAPP and as a Lecturer at Vienna University of Technology, Austria. From 2013 to 2014 she worked as assistant exhibitions coordinator and assistant curator at the Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery at Columbia University GSAPP.
