Marco Gardini is a Post Doc Fellow at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Between 2006 and 2012 he explored the redefinition of land rights in Togo and the role played by chieftaincies in land conflicts management. Since 2013, his research investigates continuities and discontinuities in the forms of labour exploitation and social marginalization on the highlands of Madagascar.
