Marc Edelman
Marc Edelman has worked for more than three decades on rural development issues, agrarian history, and peasant and farmer movements, mostly, but not only in Latin America. His books include The Logic of the Latifundio, Peasants Against Globalization, Social Democracy in the Global Periphery (coauthored), and Politics of Transnational Agrarian Movements (coauthored, forthcoming). He is Professor of Anthropology at Hunter College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York (medelman@hunter.cuny.edu).
