Leonardo Custódio is a Docent in Cultural Sociology at Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Custódio’s collaborative research has centred on how people who suffer from multiple types of inequality use means of communication and expression available to mobilize and act for social changes. Custódio is also co-chair of the board of directors at WITNESS.ORG, a global non-profit organization that promotes video as evidence in defence of human rights and informs about the threats and opportunities of AI technologies.
