Kevin O’Sullivan is a lecturer in History at NUI Galway. He is author of The NGO Moment: The Globalisation of Compassion from Biafra to Live Aid (Cambridge University Press, 2021) and has published widely on issues of global justice, development, human rights, and emergency relief. He has also worked closely with non-state actors on projects exploring the value of historical reflection to the contemporary aid sector.
