Kate Herman is a graduate student in the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the project coordinator for Libraria’s Cooperate for Open initiative. Her research focuses on building a more expansive understanding of open scholarship by tracing a genealogy of experimental publishing projects in the field of anthropology. Before joining the Libraria team, she worked as an editorial associate at Duke University Press.
