Ingo Rohrer is research assistant at the department of social and cultural anthropology at Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg. He is interested in relations of friendship, trust and mistrust and has conducted fieldwork in Indonesia, Chile and Argentina. After his PHD on friendship in the punk scene of Buenos Aires, he now works on aspects of trust, mistrust and fear in the criminal justice system of Argentina.
