Heath Cabot is Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh and is currently co-editor of the Political and Legal Anthropology Review (PoLAR). She is a political and legal anthropologist whose research examines citizenship, ethics, and rights in Europe, with a focus on Greece. She is the author of On the Doorstep of Europe: Asylum and Citizenship in Greece (Penn Press 2014) and is trying to get motivated to write a second monograph on changing notions of citizenship and somatic and social health in Greece under austerity.
