Esther Moeller
Esther Moeller is a researcher at the Leibniz-Institute of European History in Mainz/Germany. While her PhD thesis dealt with French cultural policy in Late Ottoman and Mandate Lebanon, her current project analyzes the role of humanitarian aid for Egypt’s national, regional and international request for sovereignty in the twentieth century. Her research interests are transnational and global history, history of humanitarianism and international organizations, history of colonial education.
