Charissa Dechène holds a BA and MA in cultural anthropology and development sociology from the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. She is the project manager of the primary school project ‘Welcome to My Neighbourhood’ in which students from two schools with different populations meet and work together. She is also a freelance TV and movie critic for a Dutch broadcasting association.
