Bogumila Hall is currently an Assistant Professor at the Polish Academy
of Sciences, Warsaw, where she works on a project 'Yemen _on the
move_: An ethnography of war, borders, and struggles for mobility.' Her
work to date has focused on subaltern politics, social movements and
migration from the Middle East. Her broader research interests include
issues of margins, race, borders, feminism and postcolonial studies. She
holds a PhD in Sociology from the European University Institute,
Florence.
