Anthony Good
Anthony Good is Professor Emeritus and Professorial Fellow in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh. His principal field research was in Tamil Nadu, South India. He has frequently acted as an expert witness in asylum cases in the UK, USA, Canada, and several European countries, mainly involving Sri Lankan Tamils. He has also done research into uses of expert evidence in the British asylum courts, and (with Robert Gibb, Glasgow) comparative research on the asylum processes in France and the UK.
