Author: Anne Brackenbury

Anne Brackenbury has spent over 25 years in scholarly publishing. Despite being tempted by the prestige factor that informs much of this world, Anne has consistently found herself outside that center looking for ways to build and support the creative and experimental work that thrives on the margins. In her time as Executive Editor at the University of Toronto Press, Anne curated the Teaching Culture blog and launched the groundbreaking ethnoGRAPHIC series (ethnography in graphic form). Since 2019, she has been working as a scholarly communications advisor for those interested in pursuing more creative and public-facing works.
