Anna-Riikka Kauppinen
Anna-Riikka Kauppinen is a Research Associate at the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge, where she is part of Max Planck Cambridge Centre for Ethics, Economy and Social Change. Her doctoral research (LSE, 2018) was a study of professionalism, career pursuits, and emerging audit cultures in Ghana’s capital Accra. She is undertaking a new project in Accra and Lagos on the social networks between financial institutions, private sector enterprises, and Charismatic churches, tracing the circulation of capital, advice, people, and ritual between distinct modes of governmentality and financial accountability.
