Anna Bettini
Anna is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Alberta, Canada, under Dr. Andie Palmer's supervision. In her dissertation, she is exploring the socio-cultural and environmental impacts of hydraulic fracturing and the petrochemical industry in rural Taranaki, New Zealand. Her research interests include but are not limited to: understanding of the human-environment relationship from a phenomenological perspective; environmental justice; traditional Māori and Indigenous knowledge; future of energy; sustainability; environmental advocacy and non profit organisations; environmental humanities; multispecies ethnography.
