Amy Levine
Amy Levine is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Global Studies at Pusan National University in South Korea. She completed her Ph.D. in the Department of Anthropology at Cornell University. Her work has been published in Anthropology News, the Journal of the Royal Anthropological Institute, the Political and Legal Anthropology Review, Social Science Space, and the Finnish Yearbook of International Law. Professor Levine's first book, South Korean Civil Movement Organisations: Hope, Crisis and Pragmatism in Democratic Transition, was published by Manchester University Press as part of the New Ethnographies series. She is currently researching institutional aesthetics and temporalities surrounding Busan's nuclear energy industry.
