Adrienne Mannov
Adrienne Mannov is an assistant professor in anthropology at Aarhus University. She earned her PhD in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. Focusing on international seafarers and maritime piracy, Mannov did fieldwork at sea and on land, including in Ukraine. She has conducted research on transportation jobs and automation for the UN and did interdisciplinary research on AI, data security and cryptography. She is currently research lead for a new project on migrant workers’ occupational safety in Danish agriculture.
